BLACK MAGIC By Bombi ~ Two SACHET PILLOWS
1948 Vintage ~ VERY RARE & HARD TO FIND
NEW Condition in that They Are Unopened and Unused
These Sachets are still Sealed, each with a white ribbon in their original retail sleeves and are being sold as Collectible Vintage Vanity items - made in the late 1940s.
They still have a very faint perfume fragrance left. The Perfumed Sachet Pillows are in excellent unopened condition, with their tags. Each is seal-tied with a white ribbon as pictured. Their cardboard sleeves (not shown) show some yellowing and wear from age but are in otherwise good condition and are decorated with the faint patterned "Black Magic" cauldron design motif. Each Box is 7 1/2" x 6" x 1"

Sweet Words: In San Francisco, newspaper readers got their first whiff of a scented sales stunt. The Emporium department store and Bombi Perfumer, Inc. had printers mix Black Magic perfume with the ink for their full-page perfume ads. Result: Emporium sold out its stock of Black Magic in less than a day. From Time Magazine.
